I remember this time when I was sitting in a vineyard with my favorite cousin in the whole world, and we were just laughing and enjoying the summer breeze, drinking white wine with an incredible charcuterie board. It was a moment in time where everything just stopped, and it was just she and I having a great time together as girlfriends. I've never had peach champagne. I don't even know if it's real, but this color reminds me of that soft, gentle moment when you're just with somebody, enjoying their company, being together, and enjoying the fruits of life.
The fun thing about each painting in the champagne series is that it plays with light, the way the crystals sparkle, and the color changes on the painted areas—depending on how the light hits.
